Dear Neighbors:

We would like you to know more about Usher Oil Company: who we are, what we do and our history in the neighborhood.

Usher Oil is a third generation, family owned environmental protection and energy recycling company. We have been a solid anchor in the neighborhood since 1946, nearly 60 years.

What Usher Oil does is vital to manufacturing and protecting jobs in the Detroit area. Our transport fleet collects oil and waterbased lubricants from manufacturing facilities in the area. We also collect used oil from neighborhood oil change shops and automotive parts suppliers. Then we clean everything up to strict government standards so that the oil can be used again in industry and the water can be safely disposed.

This process keeps used oil out of the environment and allows it to be re-cycled as an industrial fuel, replacing and saving new fossil fuels.

You are invited to look inside and learn more about what we do, how we do it, and the men and women who make up Usher Oil.
